Posted by on 21 Jun 2009 | Tagged as: Farm News, Technology

Stranger’s Hill Organics is featured in the June 2009 issue of Inc. Magazine for its use of collaboration technology and tools and is featured on the Homepage of Inc.com on June 25th.

Stranger’s Hill Organics is a Certified Organic farm in Bloomington, IN which serves local Bloomington, south-central Indiana and Indianapolis markets.  To coordinate our business operations we use a number of technology tools.  The article in Inc. Magazine explores our use of web-based collaborative technologies, specifically  37signals’ Basecamp web service.  Partners and staff use this tool to communicate, exchange files, set milestones and plan operations.  We’re using modern technology tools to complement our traditional organic farming techniques, but the proof is in the quality of our produce.  You can find Stranger’s Hill Organics produce at the Bloomington Farmers’ Market, Bloomingfoods Co-op stores, Indianapolis Whole Foods Markets and through Farm Fresh Delivery in Indianapolis.
